Abstract

This chapter explores curricular principles and topics for women's entrepreneurial leadership education in Arabian Gulf countries, focussing on a number of converging and divergent factors that together distinguish the region. The approaches used to guide educational design are those that take into account the developments these countries have made in nation-building, examining a number of contextual factors, Islamic concepts of identity, culture, and learning, cross-cultural studies, and multiple modernity concepts. A foundation suitable for a model of women's entrepreneurial leadership education is presented in their evolving roles in these rapidly developing countries.
