Tok, M. Evren

M. Evren Tok is an assistant professor of Public Policy in Hamad Bin Khalifa University. His research interests involve policy analysis, political economy, sustainability, entrepreneurship and its education. Prof Tok is Co-lead Project Investigator in a research grant on building a Qatari perspective on natural resource governance in Africa. He recently received a grant from the Qatar National Research Institute (QNRF) to organize a conference on public policy and entrepreneurship education, to take place in February, 2017. Dr Tok has also acted as project investigator, senior researcher, and project consultant at the United Nations and other organizations. His most recent publication, which he edited in collaboration with Prof Leslie Pal and Ms Lolwah Al Khater, is Policy Making in a Transformative State (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016). Through a series of case studies, the book explores how public policy is made in Qatar.
