Mohammad H. Fadel is the professor of Religion and the Liberal State: The Case of

Professor of Business Administration.He has taught a variety of elective courses including advanced corporate finance and project finance. He also teaches in a variety of executive education programs and served as the faculty chairman for the Summer Venture in Management Program for 14 years, a management training program for underrepresented minority students. Professor Esty served as the Head of the Finance Unit (department) from 2009-14.
Author of "A Critique of the Origins of Islamic Economic Thought".
Dr. Haleh Esfandiari, the former and founding Director of the Middle East Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, is a Public Policy Fellow at the Wilson Center. She has had a rich and varied career. In her native Iran, she was a journalist, served as deputy secretary general of the Women's Organization of Iran, and was the deputy director of a cultural foundation where she was responsible for the activities of several museums and art and cultural centers.
