(Visiting Professor, University of Reading, United Kingdom; Adjunct Professor, INCEIF, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Volker Nienhaus was professor of economics at the German universities of Trier and Bochum from 1989 to 2004. He was the president of the University of Marburg from 2004 to 2010. He holds an honorary pro­fessor­ship at the faculty of economics and business administration of the University of Bochum and has been a visiting professor at the University of Reading since 2010.
