Muddassir Siddiqui is an independent sharica consultant to Fannie Mae and other American companies on issues of sharica compliance in concluding transactions involving Islamic finance. For 20 years, he served as the legal counsel at various ministries of the government of Saudi Arabia. Siddiqui is a graduate of the College of Sharica at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
