The world has made notable progress in achieving the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of halving the rate of extreme poverty (from 43 per cent in 1990 to about 17 per cent in 2011) before 2015. Nevertheless, about 1 billion people are still under the poverty line. Despite the progress at the global level, poverty prevails with different intensity in different parts of the world.

Fiscal Decentralization and Citizen’s Satisfaction from Local Public Service Delivery in Pakistan

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of local governments in Pakistan through citizen’s satisfaction with local public service delivery in the context of the 2001 devolution plan. The devolution policy variable is found to be statistically significant, indicating that people’s satisfaction level declined significantly when the devolution plan was rolled back. The impact of demographic and socio-economic variables on citizen satisfaction with local government is also found to be statistically significant in a majority of cases.

Determinants of Inclusive Growth in Islamic Countries

Inclusive growth creates equal opportunities for those who contribute to economic growth, so that the whole people could contribute to economic growth and benefit from it. In this research, we applied Anand et al. integrated method and social mobility index to measure inclusive growth. The integrated method allows us to identify the determinants of growth and prioritize the specific constraints of each country in generating inclusive growth. We utilized unbalanced panel data method for the period 1995-2015.

Role of Digital Economy in Realization of Inclusive Growth

Since the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) digital technology has been playing an important role in economic growth leading to a continuous decline in the level of extreme poverty across the globe. while there are opportunities of using the digital revolution to promote inclusive growth, there are risks that technology could further escalate the worsening income distribution, and mitigating such risks will require establishing a sound digital infrastructure and providing digital education to all members of the society.

جاء هذا البحث ليعالج مشكلة الإنزال الخاطئ لجزاءات المخالفات العقْدية، والتصرفات المدنية الأخرى في غير محلها الذي شرعت له، وذلك من خلال بيان المخالفات المدنية المستحقة للجزاء، ثم بيان الجزاء المناسب لكل فئة من فئات هذه المخالفات المدنية، وكذلك يهدف هذا البحث إلى إعانة العاملين في مجال التحكيم الشرعي وفض النزاعات المدنية عامة، والمالية والعقْدية خاصة على الارتقاء بقراراتهم وأحكامهم، والوصول بها إلى أعلى درجات الدقة والصواب.
