His interest in the field of Islamic banking and finance spans over three decades. He established India’s first organized Islamic banking institution called Baitun Nasr in 1973. Later on he helped establish India’s largest Islamic finance company called Barkat Investment Group. He has also served as the Executive Director of Dallah Al-Baraka’s Indian Associate.
