Doctoral Candidate, European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany Philipp Wackerbeck is an Associated Fellow of the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance in London. He has graduated from Passau University in Germany with a master’s degree in business and economics and is now a doctoral researcher at the Department of Real Estate at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. Mr. Wackerbeck has gained some work experience with leading financial institutions such as AIG, Deutsche Bank, Credit Lyonnais and Hanover Re in Germany, China, Luxemburg and in the U.K.
