Review of “Muslim Brothers in Europe. Roots and Discourse” (Brigitte Maréchal).

Brigitte Maréchal’s Muslim Brothers in Europe is a study of the Muslim Brotherhood in France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. The focus of this study is on “ideological aspects” of the Muslim Brotherhood (10). Written by a sociologist, it is primarily based upon 73 interviews conducted between May 2002 and September 2005 with “leaders and militants” of the Brotherhood in these countries.
