Rural Microfinance Support Project (RMFSP). A joint project in cooperation with Bank Keshavarzi of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Rural Microfinance Support Project aims to expand microfinance services to poor areas of Iran, especially targeting rural women and young adults. The current policy environment in Iran has not been able to support the Rural Microfinance Support Project and has been hampered a lack of experience in sustainable microfinance in both the governmental and nongovernmental sectors.
