Abstract

The book is a collection of Ahadith from the Prophet Muhammad relevant to economic matters. The traditions are divided under twelve chapter headings. These chapters deal with include: 1. Ownership; 2. Wealth; 3. Earning; 4. Land; 5. Labor; 6. Capital; 7. The behavior of consumers; 8. The mechanism of the market; 9. Money and credit; 10. Public finance; 11. Economic development; and 12. Economic values. Translations are reviewed by Ahmad Hasan of the International Islamic University (Islamabad) Islamic Research Institute.
