Abstract

The author sets out in the work to present a body of information sources on Islamic economics written in the English language. The work contains 1600 titles relevant to Islamic economics. The author cites publications of various forms, ranging from seminar papers to books. The author came about the titles through his own research work at Aligarh University. The first part of the bibliography is devoted to Islamic economic systems and consists of nine chapters--each on a different topic of economic thought. The second part of the bibliography is devoted to money, banking, and finance. Seven chapters are included, principally focused on the particular practices and institutions within an Islamic economy.
