Abstract
This book explains how Islamic banking opens the avenue for a value system in banking that applies to various religions and cultures. It analyzes variations of Islamic banking throughout the Islamic world and different schools of thought in Islamic finance. Then he uses the connection between these values and the current banking systems to emphasize that value-based models will be important in the future due to the work of Islamic finance.
