Abstract
Evaluates the degree to which religious belief acts as a determining factor in behavioral economics, and presents a theoretical model of faith-based "disaster economics," especially in regard to the religious nature of economic responses to recovery and future development after massive disasters. Advocates teaching economics in an intuitive manner by highlighting the effects of human nature, societal norms, and religion in economic decisions.
