Abstract
For a transaction to be deemed properly completed according to the shari`a, some shari`a scholars are of the opinion that the already executed signature pages must be paper clipped in a certain way. The author defines a contract according to the shari`a and comes to the conclusion that the ruling necessitating paper clipping seems to misunderstand Islamic legal theory, and the mechanics of a closing are sufficient to satisfy shari`a requirements.
