The research proposes to focus on the rise of financial technologies and their impact on Islamic finance and the economy and its institutions. The study aims to focus on the following three aspects;

1. Developing regulations for fintech companies on the lines of globally approved Basel norms as established by BIS, with a special focus on Qatar.
2. Development of local Human Capital for growth and sustainability of Fintech in Qatar
3. Making Qatar a hub for Islamic Fintech
