Dr. Mohamed Eskandar is the Academic Dean and an Associate Professor in the Master of Science in Islamic Finance Program. He was Associate Dean of School of Graduate and Professional Studies at the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF). He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Nottingham, a Master in International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland, and a Bachelor in Business Administration (Finance) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has been a consultant for government agencies and financial institutions such as Malaysia’s Ministry of Energy, Afghanistan’s Ministry of Finance, CIMB Islamic Bank, Responsible Finance Institute (RFI), and ZICO Shariah Advisory. He is the Financial Sector Specialist Consultant for the World Bank and Advisor for Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF). Dr. Eskandar is an Associate Editor for the Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics (TUJISE), International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance (IJIMEF) and the Asian Academy of Management Journal of Accounting and Finance (AAMJAF).
