Bayan Khaled is a research fellow for the MA program in Islam and Global Affairs. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Western Ontario. During her studies, Ms. Khaled developed a passion for writing poetry and producing videos on topics she feels strongly about, particularly about the Palestinian cause. She has a keen interest in media, and has expanded her skills in research, storytelling, designing, event planning, and video production. Before joining CIS, Ms. Khaled worked at Al Jazeera as a video producer, and later, Hill + Knowlton in the public relations team. Her decision to join as research fellow allows her to focus on her passion with regards to religion and politics.
