Migration Rights and Islamic Ethics

CILE at CIS invites to attend a public lecture on 'Migration Rights and Islamic Ethics'. Speakers will present their talks and reflect lights on the ethical imperatives of Shariah in response to this global crisis of internally displaced people and international refugees. The lecture will also brief on the Islamic legal framework providing protection to refugees, and discuss the rights and duties of refugees under Islamic law. The recent legislative reforms to kafala in Qatar will also be presented and discussed that are unique to the region.
