Qard Hasan is one of the most powerful benevolent sectors and tools for alleviating poverty in Islamic Economics. Unlike Zakat, there is no specific calculation for Qard Hassan that certain amount of money will have to be spent during a year. Such a practice can change the situation for the neediest segments of society. In this study, our focus is how Qard Hassan can directly impact and change the life style of Muslim students from past to present and thereby enlighten their feeling to contribute positively towards the society, nation and the Ummah as a whole. This is an empirical study which collects data from a number of recipients of Qard Hassan (Muslim students) and payees of Qard Hassan (Donors). Data will be collected by Questionnaire method through face-to-face, online and telephonic interview. The outcome of the data is be analyzed in terms of attitude, intention, motivation and dedication of the people involved in the study towards the Islamic Financial System.
