Abstract
Micro-credit given by Islamic banks through the “Bai-Muajjal†model of Islamic financing is a proven method of developing saving habits among the rural poor. The article highlights the methodological and theoretical aspects used for the research, outlines the differing financing modes of Islamic banks, and finally analyzes the research results showing exactly how the “Bai-Muajjal†model is currently working among the pastoral poor.
