Abstract

When Muslim countries regained sovereignty and freedom to establish their economies, they were brought to a world divided by socialism and capitalism. External pressure has made these countries ally more closely to one or another system. Three ways of though have emerged. The traditionalists, who don’t see the need to ally with either system. The ones who believe Islamic economics to be closest to capitalism and the ones who believe it to be closest to socialism. All three are contrasted to the actual scriptures and what the reality should be.
