Sources of law affecting 'takaful' (Islamic insurance)

This paper highlights various sources that could form the basis of law governing Islamic insurance or takaful. The paper covers primary sources of Islamic law, such as, the holy Qur'an and sunna and secondary sources, such as, ijma' , and ijtihad .
