Abstract

Islamic banks can provide efficient banking services to customers in the U.S. if they are supported with appropriate banking laws and regulations. PLS modes of operations, which are conducive to economic development, have potential for success in the United States. Studies show that Islamic banks cannot operate to full if operating under a conventional banking framework. However, Islamic banks can still survive in conventional banking settings. We see evidence of this in countries such as Bangladesh.
