Abstract

From an Islamic point of view, the cultural, political and religious spheres of a nation that is majoritarily Muslim cannot be understood without religion, as Islam covers all aspects of the state. In order to better understand this, it is important to study what Islam has to say about society, science and politics. In the political sphere it is important to acknowledge the message of justice imbedded in the Quran. In the scientific sphere, one should study the focus of knowledge according to Islam. The social system and the economic sphere are established following descriptions of the prohibition of riba. All these aspects are delineated by the Quran or other religious texts, since Islam covers of all aspects of human life and social order.
