Dr. Shaikh Abdul Sattar Abdul Karim Abu Ghuddah, Ph.D., serves as a Consultant of Dallah Al-Baraka Investment and Development Co. in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Abu Ghuddah serves as a Shariah Advisor and Director of the Department of Financial Instruments at Al-Baraka Investment Co. He serves as a Secretary General of Unified Shariah Supervisory Board of Dellah Albaraka Group, Jeddah. He held the positions of Expert and Reporter for the Islamic Fiqh Encyclopedia and Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs in State of Kuwait. He started his career as a Lecturer at Imam Al Da'awa Institute (Riyadh), Religious Institute (Kuwait), Sharia College of the Law Faculty in Kuwait University. He serves as the Chairman of Shari'a Supervisory Board at Al Baraka Bank Egypt(S.A.E). He serves as the Chairman of Shariah Supervisory Board at Al Baraka Banking Group B.S.C. Dr. Abu Ghuddah holds B.A. degrees in Islamic Sharia'a in 1964 and in Law in 1965 from Damascus University. He holds MA in Shariah and Hadith from Al-Azhar University. الدكتور أبو غدة عضو في مجلس الرقابة الشرعية في مجموعة غايدنس المالية وهو مدير إدارة الأدوات المالية في شركة البركة للاستثمار والتطوير، وعضو في مجلس الرقابة الشرعية في الشركة نفسها ومفتي شرعي في الشركة الأم أي مجموعة دله البركة. وإضافة إلى ذلك، الدكتور أبو غدة عضو ناشط في أكاديمية الفقه الإسلامي ومجالس معايير المحاسبة والمراجعة في المؤسسات المالية الإسلامية. وقد درس الفقه الإسلامي في الرياض والكويت. بين عامي 1982 و1990 كان عضوًا في هيئة الفتوى الشرعية في وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية في الكويت. حاضر سابقًا في كلية الحقوق والشريعة في جامعة الكويت. نال شهادة بكالوريوس في الشريعة الإسلامية والحقوق من جامعة دمشق ومن ثم نال شهادة الماجستير في الشريعة والحديث الشريف وشهادة الدكتوراه في الشريعة والفقه المقارن من جامعة الأزهر
