Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. Mahmud Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the College of Business, Eastern Michigan University. His research interests include international banking, emerging/transitional markets, and Islamic finance. Rahman has written on several subjects, including Project Financing in Islamic countries (co-authored with Abdul Aziz of Humboldt State University). He has an M.S. from the University of Texas, Dallas, and a Ph.D. from University of Texas, Arlington.
