Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Walid Hegazy is a doctoral candidate at the Harvard Law School. His thesis focuses on long-term Islamic financial instruments. He holds LL.M. degrees from Harvard Law School and Paris IX University. He is admitted to the Cairo Bar Association. Hegazy has worked for the law firm of White and Case in New York City and for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation in Amsterdam. He also served as an intern with the Office of the Legal Council of the United Nations, where he helped interpret important Security Council resolutions.
