He is also a partner in the New York-based law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, specializing in international taxation, financial transactions, and cross-border leasing. Toan was formerly a partner of the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie. Toan received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University Law School. He is the author of numerous articles on international taxation and speaks widely on international tax and financial topics. He is a member of the Editorial Supervisory Board of the International Tax Journal.
