Chief Executive Officer, Al Baraka Investment and Development Company; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Saleh J. Malaikah is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Investment and Development Company and Al Tawfeek Company for Investment Funds Ltd. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Al Baraka Group. He has taught at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals since 1983 and is now an Associate Professor of Finance and Investment there. Malaikah has a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Finance, and Investment from the University of Michigan. He has participated in the establishment and management of several companies in the investment, construction, and industrial sectors. In 1997, Malaikah received the “Deal Maker of the Year†award from the Islamic Banking and Finance forum in Dubai.
