(Director-General, Islamic Research & Training Institute, Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) Bradjonegoro was named the Director-General of the Islamic Research & Training Institute, Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah in 2002. His previous position was the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Indonesia. He received his bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia with specialization in economic planning and his masters and PhD in the field of Regional Science from the University of Illinois. He has published articles in several academic journals and books such as Hitotsubashi Journal of Economics, Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Korea Development Studies, and Economics and Finance in Indonesia. He has also presented papers in various international academic conferences on regional development, fiscal decentralization, international economics, and decision making method. Brodjonegoro is the recipient of numerous honors such as the Eisenhower Fellowship in 2002, visiting research fellowship at ISEAS Singapore in 1999, visiting research fellowship at Canberra in 2004, and the Honored Student of University of Indonesia in 1989.
