(Doctoral Candidate, Durham University, Durham, United Kingdom) Daniel Soloiman is a PhD scholar at Durham University currently in the final stages of his research titled “Islamic and conventional banks in Middle Eastern gulf countries: an empirical study exploring perceptions of customer and service providers.†His research interests also include the growing prospects of Islamic banking sectors in new market entrants such as Malta and Oman.
