(Research Associate, Kazakh-British Technical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan) Lyubov Sartakov is a graduate of the Eurasian National University in Astana with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in sociology, and taught there 2009-11 as a lecturer in the faculty of Journalism and political science. She graduated in 2013 from Central European University in Budapest with a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, and is currently a research associate with Professor Charman at KBTU. Her research interests include traditional security issues in transitional countries.
