He received a BA in Applied Economics and a Research MA in the Economics of Institutions & Law from Université Paul Cézanne, Aix-en-Provence, France. He is a research fellow and program manager at the Institute for Economic Studies—Europe, where he speaks and organizes conferences and seminars on the link between Islamic law, liberty and development in countries such as Morocco, Tunisia and Georgia. He is a regular lecturer in Islamic Finance at the Legal and Commercial Cooperation with the Arab World program at the Aix-Marseille Law School and in economics at the Kedge Business School.
