A.M. Candidate, NELC, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts Sameer Meralli has had extensive experience navigating the field of Islamic finance over the last several years. Meralli has held the position of vice president of Paradigm Capital, an investment vehicle that provides discretionary investment for ultra high net worth individuals, family conglomerates, and institutional clients in a structured shari‘a-compliant portfolio. Meralli was later invited to become a principal of the firm, becoming the youngest principal in the firm’s history. Previously, Sameer worked at Goldman Sachs in London, where he was involved in financial analytics and institutional client research. Sameer has also worked at Deutsche Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and consulted for various government and private sector enterprises as a freelance consultant specializing in business strategy and financial engineering. Sameer is a candidate for a Masters degree at Harvard University. He also holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and has studied law at the London School of Economics.
