Fisher, Omar Clark

Managing Director - Khidr Solutions Dr. Fisher is an internationally renowned project finance and leasing expert with specialization in application of Islamic financial alternatives, investment risk and other guarantees. He frequently delivers speeches and presentations, training and organizational development sessions both to private and public companies. He completed over 110 projects for U.S. small and large corporations in 29 countries and originated deals valued at $365 Mil in investment and $810 Mil in guarantees. Prior to this assignment, Dr. Fisher was a residential management consultant for Arthur D. Little International in Cairo, Egypt between 1980-82. Dr. Fisher was awarded a PhD in Takaful Management in 2005 jointly from the International Islamic Universityof Kuala Lumpur, Malaysiaand Camden University - Delaware, USA with honors. He holds a Masters in Science in Management (MSM) from Arthur D. Little Management Education Institute, Cambridge - Massachusetts, another Masters in Education & Finance (M.Ed) from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland and a Bachelor's (BA) degree from Yale University, New Haven - Connecticut, USA. He is a published author and has written numerous industry-related professional books and articles in the last last twenty years.
