Adjunct Professor. Lawyer at Dr.entezari&Associates (Iran). Prior to establishing her law firm in Washington, D.C. and subsequently in Tehran Iran, Dr. Entezari was an associate with the law firm of Baker & McKenzie in Chicago, Illinois. She also co-founded a law firm in Iran, Dr. Kordestani & Associates, to deal with internationalcorporate and financial matters, and assisted Powers & Hall, a Boston-based corporate law firm, in establishing their Washington, D.C. office. In addition to her law practice, Dr. Entezari was an adjunct professor of law at George Washington University National Law Center, where she taught Near East and Middle East Law (Islamic Law). She is the Past Vice- Chair of the Middle Eastern Law Committee of the American Bar Association, and a member of the panels of the International Chamber of Commerce, the German Institution of Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association, the London Court of International Arbitration, the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. She was on the advisory board of the Journal of International Law and Practice of the Detroit College of Law and served on the Board of Governors of the Washington Foreign Law Society. She has also written articles for International Business Lawyers, The Middle East Executive Reporter, and Russian and Commonwealth Business Law Report, Journal of International Arbitration, and Caspian Crossroads, on such topics as the Islamization of Iran's banking system, the Joint Stock Company Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Iranian Arbitration Proceedings, and Regional Economic Developments in the Middle East and Central Asia (ECO). Dr. Entezari is a frequent speaker on various legal topics including doing business in Iran, international arbitration, export control law, and legal issues concerning Iran,
Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan.
