Dr. David Cowan is an author, writing on economy, culture and communication. David earned his Ph.D. in International Relations at the University of St. Andrews, jointly undertaken in the School of International Relations and the School of Divinity. He holds a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Theology from the University of Oxford and a Master of Letters from the University of St. Andrews. He is a former Visiting Scholar at Boston College, USA. David is a member of the Society of Authors and the Dramatists Guild of America. His first book is a study in theology and economics, called Economic Parables: The Monetary Teachings of Jesus Christ (IVP, 2007 & 2009), now in a second edition. His second book is Strategic Internal Communication (Kogan Page, 2014). David's latest book is Frank H Knight: Prophet of Freedom (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016), part of the Great Thinkers in Economics series, published April 2016.
