Malik, Abdul Uzir

Currently, he is the Business Development Director for LGB Engineering Sdn Bhd as well as the Executive Director for SWM Environment Sdn Bhd. Dr Uzir Abdul Malik began his career with the Johore State Government as an Assistant District Officer responsible for rural programmes and projects in the district, and continued his career at the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) as an agricultural economist for 3 years. He obtained his Master’s Degree from the University of Hawaii and his PhD from the University of London. He was later appointed as an associate professor for the Faculty of Economics at University Kebangsaan Malaysia, and then as the Deputy Vice Chancellor at University Utara Malaysia.
