Hamwi, Bassel

Head of IFC Middle East and North Africa Fund at IFC Asset Management Company, LLC. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bank Audi Syria SA and served as its Deputy Chairman and General Manager. Mr. Hamwi serves as a Director of Bank Audi Syria SA. He is also employed at IFC Asset Management Company, LLC. He spent 14 years with and was in charge of a number of direct investments in the Mashreq and GCC sub-regions. Mr. Hamwi holds an MBA in International Finance and a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.
