Prior Chief Investment Officer in the Public-Private Partnership Advisory Services Department in Washington, DC. Manager, Public Private Partnerships for Transaction Advisory Services, International Finance Corporation (IFC). Mr. Bhagat has been engaged in extensive operational work in infrastructure portfolio, advisory activities, financial sector investments, private sector investment banking, consulting and finance operations. Previously, he was also Country Manager for the Philippines (based in Manila) and Thailand. Mr. Bhagat has worked in Asia (where he lived in Hong Kong), Middle East and North Africa regions investing primarily in financial institutions. He holds a masters degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from the American University, Washington, D.C. He is also a designated chartered financial analyst, and a certified public accountant.
