Nand C. Bardouille is a Visiting Professor at the University of Prince Edward Island's Master of Arts in Island Studies (MAIS) Program, where he teaches in the area of the international relations of small island states. He has been appointed as a Research Associate at the University's Institute of Island Studies, which is located in Charlottetown, Canada. Nand is also the 2018 co-awardee of the Warwick Transatlantic Visiting Fellowship, a visiting scholars program based at the Yesu Persaud Centre for Caribbean Studies, University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom. Previously, he served as a senior trade official at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, Caribbean Regional Negotiating Machinery (now the Office of Trade Negotiations of the CARICOM Secretariat), and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Secretariat (now the OECS Commission). Prior to that, Nand briefly worked with the United Nations. He is a comparative political scientist by training.
