Assistant Professor of Economics at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Pakistan. At IIUI, he has been the pioneering Coordinator of the Distinguished Economists’ Lecture Series (DELS). Before pursuing further study in the USA, he completed undergraduate and postgraduate economics studies at International Institute of Islamic Economics, IIUI in Pakistan, and established a teaching and research career at IIUI. He earned Ph.D. (Economics) degree from DUA in 2013. His doctoral thesis was entitled “Economic Effects of the External Debt Crisis for Pakistan." He has been teaching a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses while also presenting research at international conferences and seminars in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and USA. He has at least 13 publications – his research contributions were published in Australia, Bangladesh, Britain, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and USA. His two papers were translated/published in Turkish and Indonesian languages. He has working knowledge of Arabic/English/French/Punjabi/Urdu as well as EViews (Econometric Views)/Stata.
