Al-Ahdab, Abdul Hamid

Mr. Abdel Hamid El Ahdab holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Paris V (concerning the Legal System of Petroleum in Saudi Arabia). He is an attorney at law member of the Beirut Bar Association since 1965. He practiced in Saudi Arabia (1977-1980) and Paris (1980-1998). With more than 50 arbitrations in his profile where he acted as arbitrator, and seven publications on arbitration in the Arab world, Mr. El Ahdab is considered a reference in arbitration. His legal articles appeared in prestigious international arbitration journals. He has acted as Chairman of arbitral tribunals, sole and co-arbitrator as well as counsel in several reputed international and local arbitrations. Moreover, Mr. El Ahdab is a keynote speaker in many arbitration conferences in Arab and European Countries. He is also the author of many publications concerning arbitration, in the English, French and Arabic languages.
