Abod, Ghazali Sheikh

Datuk Dr. Sheikh Ghazali began his career in the academia as a Lecturer and System Analyst at Universiti Teknologi MARA in July 1978. He later held various positions at the management level including as the Deputy Director (Consultancy), Management Centre at the International Islamic University of Malaysia, as the Deputy President / Chief Operating Officer at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), before joining Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in 2007. His corporate career broaden in 2009 when Dr. Sheikh Ghazali joined Sime Darby Berhad as the Group Head of Education. Subsequently, he joined SME Bank as the Director of Human Capital & Corporate Services and was later promoted as the Chief Operating Officer of Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research Sdn. Bhd. (CEDAR), a SME Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary. Dr. Sheikh Ghazali is also a member of the Senior Management Committee of SME Bank.
