Exploring Synergies Between Islamic Funds and Socially Responsible Investments: Performance Evaluation in Light of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The main objective of the thesis is to explore synergies between Islamic funds and SRIs as well as to evaluate and compare the financial performance of Islamic funds with SRIs, conventional funds, and the market benchmarks in light of SDGs. The analysis of the study was conducted based on a time series data of 41 Islamic funds selected from 11 countries distributed in four geographical areas. The performance evaluation was conducted using the methods of Absolute Performance Evaluation and Risk-Adjusted Performance Evaluation methods.

Comparative Study of Qatar National Vision 2030 and Singapore Vision 2030 and Role of Green Financial Services

The present research compares Qatar and Singapore's national vision blueprints with special reference environmental sustainability and the role of financial services in this. Both visions offer a multidimensional development framework and aspire for knowledge driven economies. Both visions assign special attention to environmental and social concerns and sustainability. In this study we compared the salient features of the two visions with special reference to environmental sustainability and the supporting role of financial services.
