Ruslan Nagayev (Adam) obtained his BA degree in Business Administration from Misr University for Science and Technology (Egypt) in 2004. He began his career in the oil industry at a multinational company. Within four years of his working experience, he advanced from the position of Cost Control assistant to Chief Internal Auditor. He obtained a Master's degree in 2010 and a PhD in 2017 both in Islamic Finance at INCEIF. He received the President’s Award for the best PhD.

Dr. Recep Şentürk is the Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at HBKU. He was the former Founding President of Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul, Turkey from 2017 to 2021. Dr. Dheen Mohamed

Dr. Dheen is a Professor of Comparative Religion at CIS, HBKU. Prior to joining CIS in 2013, he was an Associate Professor and then a Professor at Qatar University. He has earlier worked in academia in Sri Lanka, Egypt and Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. (1988), MA (1982), and BA (1978) from the Department of Theology and Philosophy at Al-Azhar University, Egypt.

 

Dr. Dheen is an author of several books and has contributed book chapters and published articles in the international journals of repute.

Dr. Gavin Picken is Professor of Islamic Studies at the College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). Prior to joining HBKU, Dr. Picken taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies, the Universities of Edinburgh and Cambridge and the American University of Sharjah.
