Submitted by admin on Thu, 04/14/2022 - 02:32

This research cluster hosts contemporary theoretical and critical discourses in relation to Islamic art, identity, and urban life while highlighting the overlap with Islamic values. Within this research cluster, the researchers are encouraged to explore subjects related directly to Islamic architecture or to the history of Islamic art and architecture and finally to landscaping and urban planning. The cluster has two priority areas of research: Efficacious architecture & social sustainability in Muslim geographies, and historical dynamics of Muslim cities.
