Maker-Majlis is an innovative space where the focus is a fusion of:
- Global Goals (UN Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs)
- Qatar National Vision 2030
- Islam and Faith
The event is about localizing the Global Goals and making them relevant to the Muslim world in general and Qatar in particular. Connecting the youth in Qatar to these Global Goals makes them relevant to their lives, aspirations, and way of being. The event will run from Sunday 22nd Sept to Wednesday 25th Sept, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm to take part in interactive activities, workshops, and discussions. High-level panel discussions, talks, and SDG awards with leading figures, activists, and organisations will take place from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
