Abstract

Pakistan's government is dedicated to making the country's society an Islamic one, based on Adl and Ihsan. The main reforms undertaken are the establishment of interest-free loan setups and the collection of zakah and ushr. Adopting an Islamic economic system is not an easy measure. Every reform should be looked at in depth. Islam can be linked with liberal economics. Islam does not allow for the exploitation of Capitalism or for the suppression of liberty of Communism. To encourage the development of the private sector, the Pakistani government has set up tax relief programs, denationalization activities, tax holidays, and other measures. Industrial Policy Statements are the government's expression of its stand on industrialization issues. Such issues include the objective of industrialization, the oversight of industries, and urban/rural preferences. It is necessary for the government to issue a new statement, for industry in Pakistan has changed much since the last statemen
